Film still alive and playing with digital!

On the way back from an LA film shoot yesterday, I found myself in traffic behind a nice, new Kodak truck... very fitting indeed, especially as film is still alive and often used in today's upper-end, professional market. I shoot plenty of digital these days but still have film capture requests from clients that require the unique beauty film produces on important projects. 

LA Fashion Week at the W

Images by yours truly were featured billboard-size high above Hollywood Blvd at the W Hollywood for LA's Fashion Week. The night showcases the 2014 spring collection of designer biker jackets by Odaingerous. The 400+ in attendance were treated to killer music, dangerous drinks, and my latest campaign images of the designer's new collection plastered all over the W's giant outdoor Jumbotron.

FHM magazine archives

I was digging around my archives this morning, looking for an old client, and I came across these "sexy career professions" illustrative images I shot a few years back for FHM Magazine before re-located back to the UK. I must have shot every profession you could think of at one point. Their readers used to write in to the magazine, asking what salon/gym/library/ski slope they could meet these beautiful woman at. They of course didn't realize these were big agency models!

NYC to LA Road Trip!

Some photos from my last NYC to LA cross-country drive. My third coast-to-coast drive still has me pulling over as if it's my first, photographing the beauty and fun in our country's amazing landscape. This time I even found out where the historic Cadillac Ranch was!
